What you will be doing:

Manage the full lifecycle of Salesforce development projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
Lead the design and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions, using best practices and industry standards.
Oversee code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of Salesforce applications.
Ensure compliance with internally defined and industry-standard security, governance, and performance guidelines.
Provide technical guidance and feedback to team members, and foster a culture of inclusion, learning and innovation.
Collaborate with other engineering managers, product managers, business analysts, and end users to deliver high-value solutions.
Utilize Salesforce analytics tools for data-driven decision-making.
Manage the release and deployment processes, ensuring smooth transitions between environments.
Responsible for hiring, leading, supporting and developing a team, delivering continuous performance feedback, and providing opportunities for professional success.
Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the Salesforce ecosystem and evaluate new tools and frameworks for future adoption.
Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure alignment.
Perform other duties, as assigned.

What you have:

Education, Experience, and Licensing:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. High School diploma and relevant experience required.
5+ years of experience with salesforce development and deployment required.
2+ years of supervisory or managerial experience required.
Experience using Salesforce data tools required.
2+ years' experience writing Visualforce and Apex classes and triggers.
1 or more Salesforce certifications preferred.
Experience in the P&C industry preferred.
Proven experience successfully leading projects and programs, on-time and within budget.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM platforms.
Proficiency in MYSQL, Apex, JavaScript, Native, and Visual Force.
Strong understanding of relational databases.
Demonstrative success with multiple Salesforce integration projects.
Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating/deploying solutions to end users.
Proficiency in SOAP/Rest based web services.
Passionate leader with the ability to inspire and motivate a mixture of teams.
Solid working proficiencies of business operations, procedures, and priorities with a strong ability to support change and impart value within an organization.
Effective research, problem solving, analytical, critical thinking, influencing, and relationship management skills are necessary.
Exceptional organization and time management skills with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively.
Proven people leadership skills in a results-driven environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to professionally interact with team members in other departments.
Proficient in MSO/365 applications such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
